MIA HIGSON
Year 13 –Student Leadership Team - Pastoral/Ethos
My name is Mia Higson and I am one of the Deputy Head Students here at St Michaels. I work with the Pastoral team- focusing on social justice schemes and generally making school life more enjoyable and also offering support to other students. Currently, I am studying English Literature, Geography and Physical education in our Sixth Form, all of which are subjects that I am deeply interested in. When deciding these subjects, I chose areas that I genuinely enjoyed- this means that now that I am choosing my next steps, I have a secure base and idea of what I want to do. I hope to study Geography and Sports science at university in the future, and I feel like St Michaels has given me the support and diversity of knowledge to fulfil my future ambitions.
